Tector

Licensed firms quote. You decide.

Why it exists

Hiring protection means calling licensed firms one at a time and taking whatever each one says. Tector posts the job once and lets matching operators price it themselves.

Tector lists independent, licensed and insured third party security firms and licensed limousine operators. You post a job, matching operators are notified, and each one prices it against its own vehicles, its own personnel and its own terms. You read the quotes and sign with the operator you choose. Tector invoices its facilitation fee separately and is not a party to the agreement you sign.

What it is not

Tector is not a security agency, a protective services provider, a limousine operator or a motor carrier, and it does not employ any operator's personnel.

It does not provide protection or transport, set prices, choose who is assigned, respond to emergencies, or monitor an engagement in progress.

How it got made.

  1. Idea

The operator should price its own work

A client who needs a car, a protector, or both has to approach licensed firms one at a time and take whatever each one quotes, with no way to compare.

Tector turns that around. The job is posted once, matching operators are notified, and each prices it against its own vehicles, its own personnel and its own terms.

  2. Built

    The marketplace is the product

The client reads the quotes and signs with the operator they choose. Tector invoices its facilitation fee separately and is not a party to that agreement.

There are three ways to book. A vehicle is a licensed limousine operator, chauffeur service and no protection detail. A protector is close protection on foot from a licensed security firm, and no vehicle. The third is both, from one operator, on one contract.
